I logged on just to give it 5 stars. Amazing! Really cute interactive story, love Anxiety as a character, and a great message. I like that you added the information about getting help with it. Thanks for keeping it real!

Fun game, hilarious story and characters, great ending.

Good show! Saw it coming right after I gained control, though, but very well put together!

It was a fun game. I like the power ups and the style.

I really, really recognize that song from somewhere, but I can't put my finger on it. Might I ask what it's from? I know I know it.

I quite liked the gameplay. It was new and entertaining. Challenging, but not too hard.
Unfortunately, the voice acting absolutely ruined it for me. It was as if everyone was just reading the words, not feeling them at all. Some were trying too hard, too, but not in the right way.
The story was good, too, though it was not without its flaws. However, despite the voice acting, it was enough to keep me watching without skipping the scenes.
With a little bit of work on the writing and some practice - or even lessons - for voice acting, this could make a great game. If it were a bit longer and had an unlimited mode of some sort, i'll bet you could even get people to pay for it in the App Store or release it in the Google Play store for mobile devices.
The idea of this game is definitely sound.

Seriously, though. Voice acting needs work.

Oh, and although the subtitles didn't at all line up, the song at the end was good.

Hello!

I wish I could address all of the articulate and insightful reviews we've gotten so far, but I do want to respond to this as it's something that's come up a couple of times. The two main voice actors are both experienced professionals, so any sense that the voice acting is problematic is likely do to management of the rehearsals and recording sessions on the part of me and the other developers, as well as technical problems related to timing and audio compression.

Fortunately, some people have also responded very positively to the vocal performances, but I simply wanted to dispel any notion that the problems perceived are due to inexperience on the part of the actors, as that was not the source of any difficulties.

Once again, thanks to everyone who has played and reviewed the game! We are thrilled with all of the feedback we've gotten, both congratulatory and critical. We're taking all of your feedback into account.

My favourite part is that it's working like an actual advent calendar, and I can't watch past "today". This will keep me entertained!

I give you a star for the idea, and a star for the sound. It's catchy and gets me pumped.
However, your grammar is atrocious considering you're trying to teach it. The game itself is also pretty buggy and the gameplay is choppy and annoying at best.
The main thing is that you really need to proofread a game like this to make sure you're not teaching bad habits while you try to teach.
The concept is a good one, though. With a good amount of work, this game could be really good and probably very popular. Maybe, with a lot more work, you may even be able to sell it to elementary schools.

Pretty good. The instructions at the very beginning could be a bit better, have a bit more. For example, I didn't realize I could replace the front monster in my line with another by clicking on a plot with another monster card in it already until about the 10th battle.
Also, booster packs that contain different "types" would be better. I wanted to have a dark/earth deck because those were the cards I got, not because I could choose types of booster packs.
I didn't beat it... probably never will. It was fun at first, but it's just not really for me.
I did think, though, that it was well made.

Good new spin on an old classic.
I feel it would have been better if a bit wider, considering how long the fish gets.
Also, when you're really big, you can no longer eat the shellfish crawling on the bottom. Iduno if that's on purpose or not...
Also, fish that touch the tail fin get eaten too. Seems odd.

The biggest problem, though, is the screen. Perhaps if it even just zoomed out or something.

All in all, though, I quite enjoyed this game.

I'm an aspiring actor/voice actor, and I love animation. I wish I had learned to animate when I was younger... and to draw. Art in general. Ah well. I'm looking to voice act in as much as I can here on Newgrounds! Need a voice actor? Contact me!
